Breast Cancer Screenings and Diagnostics during COVID-19
In light of the current, ever-changing situation at hand, some healthcare partners have opted to restrict or reduce routine breast cancer screenings while still providing diagnostic and treatment care during this time. This page serves as a tool in which you may find out which hospitals are providing screening mammograms and diagnostic services.
If you are experiencing a breast cancer symptom you should call your doctor and let them direct care at this point.
West Michigan Region
Screening mammograms are not available. All diagnostic services will continue to be provided.
Mercy Health-Saint Mary’s
Screening mammograms are not available, they will resume on 4/6/2020. All diagnostic services will continue to be provided.
Metro Health University of Michigan Health
Diagnostic services are currently being provided.
Spectrum Health- Betty Ford Breast Care Clinic
All screening services are canceled through 3/31/2020. Essential diagnostic imaging is still offered however, 6-month follow-up imaging will not be offered during this time.
MSU College of Nursing
MSU Women’s Imaging is not doing screening mammograms. They are continuing to do diagnostic mammograms and ultrasounds with biopsies as needed.
Sparrow is still doing screening mammograms, and all other diagnostic services provided by the Women’s Imaging department. They will call patients the night before and screen them for potential illness. You may call (517) 253-6300 to schedule a service.
Southwest Michigan Region
Bronson is not providing screening mammograms. All diagnostic services will continue to be provided.
