First Lady Betty Ford’s openness about her breast cancer fostered public discussion. Join us to hear from Betty’s daughter and breast cancer advocate, Susan Ford Bales. Emmy Rickert will share her story, which begins with a breast cancer diagnosis at age 24, one week after losing her aunt to the disease, and chronicles her journey to becoming a mother now raising two young children. Community health experts will also share information on breast cancer genetics, risks and survivorship.

Come join us for a fun, educational breast cancer awareness event and bring a friend! Arrive at 4 p.m. to enjoy community partner booths and light refreshments. Follow along on social media using the hashtag #candidconversations.

Entry is free, but tickets are required. Reserve yours today at https://www.spectrumhealth.org/betty-ford-event !
